Oldham Labour Working for residents across Oldham and Saddleworth
At the launch of the Oldham Healthcheck on 13th June, Cllr Chauhan announced that social care workers will be given parking passes to allow them to get to residents quickly and easily when making home visits, rather than having to pay at a meter. Following previous decisions taken by Oldham Labour to ensure all care workers are paid the real living wage, and that union recognition is encouraged across health and social care to drive up employment standards, this is the latest step taken to respond to the needs of care workers.
