Earlier this week, Mayor Andy Burnham launched #OurNetwork, a plan for Greater Manchester’s public transport including train, tram and bus, as well as walking and cycling. At the GMCA meeting on 28th June leaders approved a report from Transport for Greater Manchester to take the assessment of the merits of bus franchising forward to independent audit, ahead of public consultation.
