Cllr Kyle Phythian has been a Labour Councillor for Hollinwood since May 2021, in that time he has served on various committees including Planning Committee and Policy Overview & Scrutiny.

In 2022 he was appointed as Deputy Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Housing, with special responsibility for Housing, included within the Leader’s portfolio.

He is an active member of the community, participating in various community schemes and uplift projects, such as alleyway clearances, litter picks and supporting local residents who have raised issues. He works with Housing Associations to improve housing standards as a voice for local people.
