Your Coldhurst Labour Candidate – Abdul Malik

Abdul Malik was a councillor for the Coldhurst Ward from 2010 to 2022. He has been involved with number of community organisations for many decades and is a well-known popular person.

Abdul has worked with his other ward colleagues to improve quality of lives for residents. His achievements include delivering more new large family housing in the ward which has benefited severely overcrowded families. He has lobbied and manage to secure two new schools in Coldhurst namely Northmoor Academy and Brian Clarke Academy due to open April 2023.

Abdul is committed to delivering a fairer society for everyone and will continue to work with all relevant partners to build more family housing in the ward, make sure our streets and neighbourhoods are safe and clean, invest in our youth services and will be an ambassador for the fight against climate change.
