Medlock Vale is an area I have been proud to call home for over 35 years and it is a place I have happily raised 3 daughters with my wonderful wife.

After graduating in 2003 with a First-Class Honours in BSc Software Engineering, I went on to work in the IT industry in various roles, currently working for Bosch as the Lead DevOps Engineer. I design and develop, innovative and creative solutions that aid Bosch Development Teams to deliver on time with set deadlines whilst budgeting more effectively. I manage a team of associates ranging from junior to senior engineers, owning responsibility to coach junior associates. Working with internal Bosch associates and external IT counterparts at vehicle manufacturers across the globe, I am always looking to build strong, cohesive relationships at a professional and personal level, garnering mutual respect.

I have actively been involved in the Medlock Vale Labour branch, supporting local election campaigns, and speaking to residents across the Oldham borough through the Labour doorstep.

As a Labour councillor I want to make a positive change in the community. I will engage with residents by rebuilding relationships and trust, creating an open environment thus creating a positive belief in local councillors.  I will work with Oldham council to address issues important to residents, instilling a sense of pride where we all feel proud to call Medlock Vale, home.
